I'm trying to automatically dial up an ISP and send an email via gmail or yahoo mail. How do I set up the e-mail in Alarmwiz?

Gmail requires SSL which AlarmWiz 2.22 didn't support; however, I have version 2.23 available which can work with SSL and gmail. To download AlarmWiz 2.23, go to http://www.acrovista.com/alarmwiz/almw223.exe

For SSL, you'll also need to download OpenSSL at http://www.slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html Install the "OpenSSL v0.9.8j Light" release corresponding to your Windows OS for Win32 or Win64. If the OpenSSL install prompts for Visual C++ files, also download and install the Visual C++ 2008 Redistributables.

Once you have SSL installed, launch AlarmWiz version 2.23 and click on Options on the menu bar and select email settings. Select "Use SMTP connection" and enter the following settings:
SMTP Server Name: smtp.gmail.com
Reply-To-Address: your full gmail address (ex. user@gmail.com)
SMTP User Name: your full gmail address again
SMTP Password: your gmail password
SMTP Port: 465
Check SMTP Server Requires Encrypted SSL Connection

The chat on the email should pop right up on the left hand side. If not, it might have been turned off, go to the bottom of the page and in the little words there will be options to turn things off and on. Turn on Chat is one of them. If you are using basic html Gmail view, you will have to switch to regular.
